We are proud to be sponsoring a film portion of the DIFF this year - About Children (But Not For Them) Shorts Program, which will be showing at the Gaslight Theater twice during the festival.

The DIFF (Durango Independent Film Festival) is committed to developing film literacy. We foster a welcoming, intimate, and unique film organization screening global, innovative, and diverse films that connect independent filmmakers, their artistic process, and their vision to the community. With a reputation of being one of the best venues for film and fun over the ski season, there is no shortage of activity for film goers. The Durango Independent Film Festival (DIFF) is made up of many leaders and staff that are all passionate about film. From previous experience, the DIFF staff understands how film can make a difference in the enrichment of a community, and is dedicated to this purpose. To this end, DIFF has created a Mission Statement and Guiding Principles in order to have a good blueprint for delivering its basic goal of executing an artistically and culturally successful film festival that is also financially sustainable.
