High Tree Cabin is a nicely appointed, two-bedroom A-Frame cabin conveniently located at a haven for outdoor enthusiasts. Vallecito Lake is home to fishing, boating, horseback riding, numerous hiking trails, off-roading, expert kayaking, and generally lazy days. In the winter you'll find easy access to the cabin plus snowmobiling, snowshoeing, and both groomed and backcountry cross-country skiing. As a general rule, Vallecito is about 7-10 degrees cooler than the Durango area in the summer, so give us a call to reserve your cool mountain hideout to return to from whitewater rafting, monument touring, climbing, shopping, or the famous Durango-Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad.
