Bear Paw Lodge Cabins and Vacation Homes offers a quiet wooded setting at Vallecito Lake. Cabins fully equipped, fireplace or wood stove, Satellite TV, Free WIFI, Playground, Sand Box, Fire pit and picnic tables.  Pets welcome in Cabins with prior approval and nightly charge.  

Off-site, we offer eight separate and unique 2 to 6 BR Vacation Homes (private homes) fully furnished, decks, Satellite TV, some offer Free WIFI, some by water.  No Smoking in Cabins or Vacation Homes.

Cabins

All Cabins are furnished with sheets, extra blankets, towels, toilet tissue, dish and bath soap. Kitchens are fully equipped including refrigerator, microwave, gas stove, coffee maker, toaster, dishes, silverware and pots & pans.

Check-In time is 3:00 pm on the date of your arrival, and Check-Out time is 10:00 am on the date of your departure.

Vacation Homes

All Vacation Home rentals are furnished with sheets, extra blankets, towels, toilet tissue, dish and bath soap. Kitchens are fully equipped including refrigerator, microwave, gas or electric stove, coffee maker, toaster, dishes, silverware and pots and pans. Some homes have dishwashers. All homes have a charcoal or gas grill.

Area and Activities

Our Cabins and Vacation Home rentals are within short driving distance to an abundance of activities.  Enjoy archeological tours, Durango & Silverton Narrowr Gauge Railroad, museums, rafting, horseback riding, hiking, boating, fishing, fall foliage tours, and hunting.  Every season is beautiful.  Spring and Summer (May to August) offers wild flowers, hummingbirds and cool mountain streams.  Fall is spectacular with the Aspen trees in their radiant yellow and gold colors quaking in the wind mid-September to mid-October.  At Bear Paw Lodge enjoy cool temps, blue skies and sunshine in the mountains.
