Durango's Original Doggy Day Care & Self

LeeAnn Craig started Healthy Hounds & Fat Cats retail store and doggy daycare in 2005, then more than doubled the facility in 2008. At that time we added a self service dog wash and overnight boarding. The next year Healthy Hounds expanded again by adding full service grooming and cat boarding. Today, the staff at Healthy Hounds has over 28 combined years of experience and training caring for pets.

Let us play with your pups when you need to leave town, or on those busy days when you just know not everything is going to get done. We will take care of exercising your dogs and even give them a bath before sending them home to snuggle with you. Your feline friends will have a private condo and a screened in porch to enjoy (weather permitting) when boarding with us.

The self service dog wash is available seven days a week for those dogs who may have gotten a little carried away on their last hike. We can even help you out if your pup accidentally met up with a skunk. We also provide full service grooming for dogs and cats. Yes, we groom cats!
