Ernie’s Bar

Taking up residence in the historic building that once housed the Spanish Trail Filling Station in the early 1920’s, and later the Foley Tire Shop, Ernie’s is a full service bar that pays homage to the automotive history of the locale.

Enjoy a wide selection beers on draft, or explore their deep list of house, coffee, and on-tap cocktails that promise something to suit everyone’s taste. Of course, you’re welcome to stop in for one of their three daily happy hours:

• 11am - 2pm: $1 Off Low-Octane Cocktails and Mocktails
• 4 - 6pm: $1 Off Draft Beers, Cocktails on Tap, and Well Drinks
• 8pm - 12pm: $6 Beer + Shot

You’d be remiss not to experience their unbelievably comprehensive list of Mezcal, which can be ordered alone or in flights, based on region, that come with orange slices, chili salt, and chapulines (crickets) for an authentic experience.

Independent Food Trucks

By creating a location for Durango’s diverse food trucks to set up shop more permanently, 11th Street Station has helped the town’s street food culture flourish. It is now home to independent food trucks that feature everything from sushi and Indonesian cuisine to pizza and sliders. It’s convenient location in the Historic Downtown District also makes it an ideal location for a quick grab & go, gourmet lunch.
