The Weekender // Sept. 20th - 22nd
Is anyone else feeling a chill in the air? Mornings are becoming a tad more bitter, and the windows can’t stay open all night. We’re jumping straight into autumn, and with it comes an amazing lineup of events. This weekend we’ve got laugh therapy, Durango’s famous show of award winning homes, and a beloved arts festival.
Calling All Train Lovers - All Weekend Long
The leaves in the mountains are changing to our favorite shade of gold. Each year, the Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad System hosts a photographer’s weekend to capture the iconic sight of a train chugging by the equally iconic sight of fall in the San Juan Mountains. Each ticket includes a boxed lunch, souvenir mug with complimentary alcoholic drinks, morning pastries, and a day in the wilderness with trains! Choose between a night shoot or a day shoot this weekend.

Maybe you’ve just met someone and sparks are flying, and you need a grand date idea. Or, you and your long term partner are looking to spruce date night up a bit. This Saturday and Sunday from 10am-5pm, head to the Durango Arts Center and Second Avenue to catch the Autumn Arts Festival!
