26th Annual Durango Autumn Arts Festival 2020

The leaves are changing, there’s pumpkin spice everything everywhere and the quiet mountain town mornings just keep getting colder and colder-- it’s almost fall in Durango! With fall comes a sad farewell to summertime fun, but not a goodbye to Durango’s beloved festivities. The 26th Annual Durango Autumn Arts Festival is this weekend, September 19th through September 20th from 10am - 5pm both Saturday and Sunday. Come join in on the fun this weekend as we celebrate the beginning of a new season while supporting the amazing local artists as well as the Durango Arts Center

Why supporting the local art community is so importantly exciting!

Durango, Colorado is known for its unique quirkiness and ability to create things so out of the box. The Durango Arts Center loves celebrating Durango’s creativity by both hosting and funding the local art scene for the 26th year in a row. East Second Avenue will be blocked off from traffic as patrons are able to mozy through the different exhibits that will be displayed along the street in various booths. Not only is local art going to be shown, but also various pieces from artists across the country. Grab a cup of coffee, preferably something pumpkin spice, from your favorite local coffee shop and take a look at all of the beautiful art on display!

Be sure to pick up your festival guide upon arrival to view a map of different exhibit locations, more information about each artist and a photo gallery of selected art that will be displayed at the event!

"We really transform Second Avenue into an outdoor art gallery for the weekend," says festival director, Jules Masterjohn.
