Local Food for your Thanksgiving - Saturday, 9am - 1pm
If you were hoping to grab locally grown produce, cheese, meat, and other farmers market delicacies for your Thanksgiving table, you’re in luck! The farmers market is making a special return this Saturday to give you the chance to load up on meat, veggies, cheese, and other gifts from local artisans at the La Plata County Fairgrounds.
Time to Shred - Wednesday, 9am
Been aching for some fresh fluff under your feet? Purgatory has already received a full blanket of the good stuff this week with plenty in the forecast, and they’re churning out the first chair at 9am Wednesday. Take a trip up 550 and ski opening day! If you’re really dedicated, see if you make it to first chair.

Durango Community Thanksgiving Dinner at the La Plata County Fairgrounds
In town for Thanksgiving? Head to the La Plata County Fairgrounds for a meal with all the traditional Thanksgiving fixings to fill your tummy! With turkey and pie, this meal will make you feel at home as you eat from Durango locals. This event is put on by a team made up of all locals.
