The Polar Express Train Ride - Friday-Sunday, December 21st-23rd
It’s the last weekend before Christmas, meaning the days to board the Polar Express are limited! Take a break from the stresses of shopping, planning, and running around this weekend and join the Durango winter tradition. Just over an hour of travel time, the Polar Express is great for families, and transports you to the North Pole (which is surprisingly close to Durango) with carols, hot cocoa and cookies, and of course, Santa! When you’re done, be sure to walk through the Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Museum. They’ve worked hard to decorate it for the holidays, so don’t miss the opportunity to participate in a local favorite tradition. This event is great for families who love singing carols and singing waiters bringing you hot cocoa.
