Welcome to the weekend, Durango! Have you been having a blast playing in the snow? Be sure to head up to Purgatory this weekend to ski out some fresh pow lines. If you’re an adrenaline junkie and you are planning to head up to the backcountry this weekend, be sure to check out our Tips for Backcountry Skiing this Winter in Durango. Denver's Magic Beans return April 30th, 2021 with their third studio album, Slice of Life, a 14 song documentation of a year spent away from the familiar confines of the road. When the pandemic hit, Magic Beans had dozens of shows canceled, so they hopped into their studio in Denver, CO and started recording songs. Produced by Magic Beans - and Mastered by David Glasser (The Grateful Dead's long time Mastering engineer) - Funk, soul, live electronica, and even bluegrass music find their way into this songbook from 4 band members that each bring their own flavor to the project. Do you have what it takes… Know the Snow Rando Race @ Purgatory Resort
SUNDAY FROM 8AM - 10:30AM
The 4th annual Rando Race, a benefit and fundraiser for Know the Snow Fund, a local nonprofit dedicated to increasing accessibility to avalanche education for all ages to build a more aware community of backcountry enthusiasts in the San Juan Mountains. There are two course options, both are NEW courses this year, a longer ~9.5 Miles option or a shorter 5.5 mile option. All levels of experience are welcomed.
