The Weekender // January 25th-27th
Durango’s favorite party is quickly approaching! We’ve still got one week to go, but that doesn’t mean the weekend should go to waste! With events filled with live music, painting parties, and of course drinks, this pre-Comic-Con weekend is bound to be a great one!
Out-Of-This-World Concert - Saturday, January 26th
PJ Moon & The Swappers proudly hold their self proclaimed title of “Durango’s Third Favorite Boy Band.” But this weekend they’re hoping to change that. By bringing out-of-this-world-music to 11th Street Station, they’re planning to swoop into second. Formed in Durango in 2017, the four musicians have taken their music across the country to the Times Square club, B.B. Kings. Their most recent album, Memoirs of Living in a Car, was written to mend new modern rock and soul music with relevant and meaningful lyrics that anyone can relate to. This concert is great for anyone looking for a chill Saturday night concert with good music, drinks, and possibly, Durango’s second favorite boy band.

Drinks and Lovey-Dovey Cards - Saturday, January 26th
Are you always left scrambling on February 13th trying to put something meaningful together for your Valentine? Get ahead of the game this year and make a homemade card in January! Spend the first two weeks of February relaxing, watching everyone else running around trying to put something together last minute. But, you were smart and went to the Billy Goat Saloon for the Cocktails & Valentine Card Making Night, and had a drink (or three) while making handmade cards for everyone in your life. You’re awesome like that. This event is ideal for anyone who loves happy hour and making mushy cards for their loved ones.

Picasso & Vino - Sunday, January 27th
Do you love to paint? Do you want to love to paint? The Durango Arts Center is hosting a Paint Party for anyone interested in learning the craft! And the best part, there is no experience is necessary! So bring your messy creativity, and a grubby t-shirt, because let’s be honest, you’ll need it. The event costs $38 and includes all of the supplies needed to create the class design of a cardinal! And of course, it wouldn’t be a Durango party without drinks. Cocktails and wine can be purchased for those over 21. But, unlike other Canvas & Cocktail style classes, the party is open to those under 21 as well, so bring the family!
