Whether you’re a born and raised Durangotang, a frequent visitor, or a passerby, it’s easy to spot the love for music in our historic mountain town. No matter the genre, and no matter the day of the week, you’re always able to find live tunes to enjoy throughout the city. This weekend is exploding with live music! Embrace the summer sun, hit the river, and make it back into town for some live music and a motor expo show this weekend.
The seasonal Brew Train is making its debut this Saturday. With guest breweries including Mancos Brewing Co, Bottom Shelf Brewing, San Luis Brewing and plenty more, each Saturday hosts yummy beer, great music, and spectacular views of the San Juans. The train will depart at 11:00am and arrive at Cascade Canyon where you’ll enjoy live music from Liver Down The River and sip on Colorado beers. The series will feature other bands including Blue Moon Ramblers, Ben Gibson Band, Six Dollar String Band, and more. If you can’t make it this Saturday, you have until August 10th to make it happen! Summer of Sundays Music on the Lawn
Best for: Those looking for a relaxing dip and music.
The Pete Giuliani Band will be playing acoustic covers and originals at Trimble Spa & Natural Hot Springs this Sunday as part of the Summer of Sundays Music on the Lawn series. The music is free to enjoy with your general admission ticket to Trimble. For locals, general admission tickets are only $14 to enjoy the hot spring facilities and the Pete Giuliani Band!

Animas City Theatre and Prohibition Herb will be hosting a four-night Battle of the Bands series. The winning band will receive $1000 as a grand prize! The series kicks off this Saturday at 8:30, doors open at 7:30 so you can grab a good seat and a good drink from in the in-house bar at the Animas City Theatre. This Saturday you can catch 4 bands: Playing With Skunks, Six Minute Suicide, Profetic Calaveras, and Nil. Get your tickets now for $5! $7 at the door.
