The Weekender // March 15th - 17th
It’s the luck of the Irish! St. Paddy’s day is here and we’re feeling lucky that it’s going to be a blast! Laugh til you cry with award-winning comedians, ride the rails with a traditional corned-beef sandwich, and drink all the green beer your heart desires!
Irish Beer & Rails - Sunday, March 17th
Get your Irish on! Bring the whole family aboard the only St. Patrick's Day themed train ride in the area with the Durango and Silverton Narrow Guage Railroad! The fun begins before boarding with local Celtic musicians, the Kitchen Jam Band, performing on the platform before departure. There will be tons of Irish-themed temporary tattoos for the young ones (and you!) before you’re off to Cascade! Once aboard, the Kitchen Jam Band will be moving from car to car performing throughout the ride as you eat a traditional Irish lunch with a lucky pint of beer (or two). This event is fun for the whole family whether you’re Irish or not!

It’s time to laugh off those ridiculous green hats with two awesome comedy shows! Saturday night, swing by the Irish Embassy Pub (the place for green beer!) for their local favorite event, Laugh Therapy. On this special Saturday night event, they will be showcasing the 2018 winner of the Next Best Comic of the Four Corners, Kate McLachlan. Still in need of some chuckles afterward? Head to the Community Concert Hall for an all-day event with Kyle Cease for his only day in Durango! Kyle thanks comedy for being an outlet throughout his life, and making life joyous and meaningful. Swing by for a day of laughter and transformation!

St. Paddy’s Day Festivities - Sunday, March 17th
St. Patrick’s Day Carnival
Join the 11th Street Station family this St. Patrick's day for an afternoon full of Irish activities, food, and fun! In case you haven’t heard, it’s actually supposed to be sunny and warm(er) this Sunday, so get out of the house and enjoy it while you can! If you’re lucky, you might win a prize at one of the games or tournaments for both kids and adults. But what about dinner? You’ll have so many Irish themed options at each of the food carts that you’ll want second dinner! This event is great for those really wanting to get in the St. Paddy’s Day spirit.
