Durango Independent Film Festival 

Durango’s 15th Annual Film festival event is happening this weekend! Don’t miss out on this town’s biggest event of the spring. There will be over 100 different films featured at three different locations over the course of four days. Get the opportunity to meet with the filmmakers, converse with the innovators behind the making of this event, get some food, enjoy fun cocktails and much more! What’s a Picture Series in the Desert Worth?

Thursday, March 5th - Tuesday, March 10th 

Moab Photo Workshop  @ Moab, UT

Discover Moab, Arches & Canyonlands National Parks and Dead Horse Point State Park with the lens of your camera as your guide. You will be coached on how to sake supherb photos at sunrises and sunsets while having hands-on instructional training during the afternoons. Take all of the photos that Moab is famous for, but better! There will be plenty of time for learning editing and critiquing processes along the way. Instructor Colin Y., from New York State, is excited to go on this adventure of learning and growing to become a better photographer. Colin has spent many years in the Moab area, perfecting his technique on how to take mesmerizing pictures in this famous desertous area. Photographers of all skill levels are welcome! You’re Runnin’ With the Fastest in Town

Sunday, 9am - 11am 

FLC Fastest 5K @ Fort Lewis College

Think you’re the fastest in town? Come prove it and support Fort Lewis College’s XC and track teams. This race starts up at the college and ends at Durango Running Company. It’s an over 300 foot drop over the course of more than three miles! This race is not about gimmicks-- no flashy extras or casual walking at this 5K! This race is all about running and running fast. Registration is $30 the week of the race and $40 the day of the race! All proceeds will go to FLC XC and track teams.
