The Weekender // November 1st - 3rd
Happy Halloween, Durangotangs, and early feliz Dia de los Muertos! If there’s one thing that Durango knows how to do, it’s celebrate. Snowdown, San Juan Brewfest, New Year’s Eve, and winter holiday celebrations are revered in this town. But Day of the Dead is quickly becoming a multicultural celebration here in Durango. Organizations like Durango Arts Center are recognizing “Durango’s significant and vibrant Hispanic population,” and are working to create events that embrace multiculturalism. Whatever it may be that you’re celebrating this weekend, take a peek at the top events and get involved.
