Welcome to the WEEKEND Durango! As always, we’re here to wish you happy Friday and inform you about the best events happening over the weekend. It’s only two days long, so why not make the most of it, right? It is going to be a little warmer than it has been all week, with the Colorado sunshine beaming on our mountain town of Durango, so be sure to get outside and do something fun! Go on a hike, a long bike ride or basque in the sun and listen to some live music downtown. Up, Up and AWAY… The Animas Valley Balloon Rally

FRIDAY AND SATURDAY

It’s the 6th annual Animas Valley Balloon Rally! These are no regular helium balloons-- these are HOT AIR balloons. Join us Saturday night in downtown Durango, Colorado for the Balloon Glow! If you can't make it on Friday, then catch them on Saturday morning for the mass ascension on Hermosa Meadows Road, at the Dalton Ranch Country Club from 7PM - 9PM.

Rock out with the best of us… Liver Down the River and The Buzz @ Animas City Theatre

SATURDAY AT 9PM

Liver Down the River, one of Durango’s favorite local bands, returns! Don’t miss the chance to see them and The Buzz at Animas City Theatre this Saturday night. It’s been a while since any of us have been to a concert-- so, now is your chance! Other featured bands will be playing as this concert will be one for the books.

SATURDAY AND SUNDAY FROM 10AM - 6PM

Halloween is just around the corner and we all need to prepare with costumes, buying candy and decorating! BUT… have you gotten your pumpkins for carving yet? Bring the whole family out to the pumpkin patch for pumpkin pickin’, a jumbo jumper for the kiddos, apple/potato cannons and a 10 acre corn maze.
