COVID-19 Community Testing Event in Bayfield, Friday, November 20th

Durango, Colo.: San Juan Basin Public Health (SJBPH) in collaboration with Upper Pine River Fire Protection District will be providing free community drive-through COVID-19 testing this Friday in Bayfield, November 20th. The testing is for symptomatic individuals or those who believe they may have been exposed to COVID-19 either through known contact or general community interaction.

What: Free community COVID-19 Testing (drive-through or walk-up)

When: Friday, November 20, 9 am – 12 pm, no appointment needed

Where: Upper Pine River Fire Protection District Administration Building at 515 Sower Drive

Who: Free Community testing provided by Upper Pine River Fire Protection District

With the importance of testing in fighting the spread of the virus, SJBPH wants to make it as convenient and accessible as possible for everyone and will continue to work to expand COVID-19 testing options in our community, in collaboration with community partners.

SJBPH understands how challenging the COVID-19 pandemic is for everyone, and agency staff sincerely appreciate the efforts of all community members to wear face coverings, social distance, avoid gatherings with anyone outside your household, stay home if sick, and wash hands well to contain the spread of the virus. SJBPH reminds anyone who has COVID-19 symptoms or anyone who is concerned that they may have been exposed either through known contact or general community interaction, to get tested.
