Post Draw Options for Colorado Big Game Hunting

By now, all applicants have received the results for the big game draw. If you successfully drew your license, you’re probably daydreaming about your upcoming hunt. But fear not if you failed to draw, because that does not mean you won’t be hunting big game in Colorado this year. Not drawing a big-game limited license (or not applying) can actually be a good thing. Sometimes the challenge of finding a new hunting area is just what’s needed to add a new sense of adventure to your hunting routine. Read more in Colorado Outdoors.

Take a Friend Hunting and Win Great Prizes!

Colorado Parks and Wildlife, along with our hunting partners, is encouraging hunters to take a friend into the field. As a reward for taking time to teach a new hunter, CPW has created a contest for mentors who pass on their knowledge. Take a novice hunter out and be entered to win some great prizes by submitting a photograph and brief story about your experience. Submissions will be judged by their ability to inspire. Some prizes include a Yeti cooler, a $600 gift card to Bass Pro Shops, over $600 in gift cards to Scheels and Sportsmen's Warehouse + more! View details.
