Hauntings & History: Durango Ghost Tour

Horsefly History Tours
Date: Friday October 7, 2022
Time: 7:30 pm - 9:00 pm
Location: Horsefly History Tours
Address: , Durango, CO, 81301
Price: $35
Category: Historical
Historic Downtown Durango has many treasures to behold, but beware when the sun goes down. Wander the streets at night and you might catch a glimpse of the shadow man who watches people from a second floor window. Listen, and you might hear children where there are none. Durango is saturated with paranormal activity and interesting history, and this tour delivers both. Is there a scourge on this land from a gruesome ancestral puebloan tragedy? Or is it the granite bedrock that is said to retain energy? Most certainly the hardships, tragic and premature deaths, of 1800s settlers doesnt help. Whatever it is, there is a vibration here and the spirits come out of the shadows at night.

Our 90-minute Hauntings & History Ghost Tour will not disappoint. This one-way walk north on Main Avenue will leave your head spinning with real history and credible hauntings. We meet in front of the Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Train Depot (479 Main Ave) at dusk (May-August 8 pm; Sept-Oct 7:30 pm). We conclude the tour by entering one of the best haunted locations in Downtown Durango! We are the only ghost tour that takes you INSIDE a historic location!

*Due to narrow downtown sidewalks, and our desire for rapport and inclusion among those on the tour, our tours do not exceed 15 people. Be prepared for loud streets and crowds. Downtown Durango can be pretty raucous at night. Masks are optional. Dress warm and wear comfortable shoes.
