Job Description:
San Juan Basin Public Health is hiring a part-time Programs Technician to work in the Opioid Risk Reduction (ORR) Program. The ORR program will provide harm reduction services including opioid reversal medication, fentanyl test strips, safe injection supplies and sharps collection containers to ensure participants have access to supplies to reduce overdose deaths and the transmission of HIV and viral hepatitis. The position will work directly with program participants seeking harm reduction services, and provide outreach and education to priority populations and community partners. The position will also be responsible for providing HIV and hepatitis C testing services to participants.
