Job Description:

Omni Bagels is a sustainable Adventure Bagel Company. We have a whole line of Omni products we produce in compostable packaging. Omni is a wholesaler, so we provide our products to other stores and restaurants. Our mission is to provide a locally sourced, sustainable product to our Durango community and to provide education to other budding businesses on how to operate sustainably. We are a small company that is growing quickly, in the next year we will be expanding into a larger scale facility with the intention of shipping our products.

Production Manager Requirements:
- Organized
- Self-Sufficient
- Passionate about sustainability
- Works with Quickbooks, or is willing to learn
- Well versed in Excel
- Good understanding of technology
- Creative
- Enthusiastic
- Management Experience

Production Manager Duties:
- Building a schedule for existing staff
- Implementing inventory procedures and overseeing staff execution of these procedures
- Drafting SOPs and Checklists for staff
- Organizing Cold/Dry Storage
- Overseeing Ordering of Ingredients/Packaging
- Working with a punchlist, organizing company priorities
- Organizing production flow: designating days for individual product production
- Following up with prospective and existing vendors
- Tracking bagel/schmear flavor sales
- Overseeing production of products/packaging
- Quality Control
- Drafting production list for bagel bakes, schmear production, & weekly prep.
- Assisting with the execution of new products: research & troubleshooting
- Organizing pop-ups and Omni partner events

We are building something unique and are looking for the right person to grow with our company. The position will start as part time, expanding into a full time position in May.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
