Primary strategic business leader of the property with responsibility for all aspects of the operation including guest and employee satisfaction, human resources, financial performance, sales and revenue generation and delivering a return on investment. General manager will report directly to owner. Implementation of the Best Western brand service strategy and brand initiative with the objective of meeting or exceeding guest expectations.
Manage day to day operations.
Monitor the performance of the hotel through analysis of guest satisfaction systems.
Be able to resolve and take corrective action always keeping guest experience in mind.
Ensure staff are supported, motivated and the property is compliant with established labor regulations.
Establish and maintain applicable preventative maintenance programs to protect the physical assets of the hotel.
Ensure two-way communication system that cross department lines to reach all employees.
Develop new programs which result in an increased level of guest satisfaction and operational excellence.
Partake in training and continuing education/development ass necessary.
Work with corporate to set prices across all platforms.
Travel for corporate training.
Reward employees who meet or exceed guest expectations.
Hold weekly staff meetings.
Inspect rooms regularly with Director of Housekeeping, Front Office Manager, and the Director of Engineering.
Computer literate, know word, excel, hotel pos.
