A sign-on bonus of $250 for a qualified candidate is paid after six months of successful employment once hired. The offer is for external new hires only.

The Float position assists in classroom coverage as needed and provides breaks.

The work schedule for this position is unique as it aligns with the Preschool Head Start program year:

Part-time, part-year, working 20 hours a week M-Th 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM for 42 weeks, August-May.
The wage range is $12.90 to $14.07, depending on education and experience.

The minimum requirements are a Child Development Associates (CDA) or HS/GED and willingness to obtain a CDA within six months. Tri-County Head Start will assist you in getting the training and experience needed to get the CDA requirement.
